The Sharks were well represented in at the IIHF Men's World Championship in Czechia with six players representing their five respective countries.

Luke Kunin and Will Smith skated for Team USA, Mikael Granlund represented Finland, Fabian Zetterlund donned the yellow and blue of Sweden, Nico Sturm skated with Germany and Jan Rutta represented host Czechia.

Several of the Sharks got on the board for their teams including some nice goals from Jan Rutta and Fabian Zetterlund. ⬇️

The Sharks and their teams thrived in the prelims and all earned a spot in the quarterfinals.

After successful prelims, and a few upsets, Zetterlund and Rutta were the only Sharks skating in the semifinals.

Rutta and Czechia topped Zetterlund and Sweden in their semifinal matchup, 7-3. 

On Sunday, Zetterlund first won the Bronze medal with Sweden, taking down Canada, 4-2!

Later in the day, Rutta and host Czechia won Gold!
