Oceans Unknown: Fabian Zetterlund

We're back with another edition of Oceans Unknown! If you're new here, the San Jose Sharks "Oceans Unknown" series gives fans an opportunity to get to know their favorite Sharks off the ice in places that showcase the players' personality, fashion, and life beyond the rink. For this one, we wanted to give fans the chance to get to know one of the newest Sharks: Fabian Zetterlund.

When not living in San Jose, he calls Karlstad, Sweden home where he grew up. He's super close with his family & has a younger sister, Frida!

Fabian may rock his 3-piece suits on game days (see

), but he prefers wearing sweats & hoodies. His favorite fashion brands include Roots, Palm Angels, and Dior. How would he describe his style? "Drip with the water and ice emoji". Oh and he also hates the term "casual", so we won't use it.

Fabian's favorite clothing item? Hats. He owns more hats than any other clothing item. Of course, like any true hat aficionado, he has an entire wall back home with his family that includes his favorites from over the years.

2 more things about our Swedish Sensation:

1) On his off days, he likes to keep it low key. Grab a cup of coffee, rest, and explore the city.
2) He loves the holidays and appreciated being able to have a place of his own to decorate a Christmas tree this past December.

Now, there's just something about hockey players and cars that go together so perfectly. When Zetterlund first pulled up to SAP Center in a white Charger, we knew we had to get the scoop on the story behind the car. Turns out, he was the one that picked it out since he was the first to arrive in San Jose after being acquired at the end of February along with Andreas Johnsson. It was the best option in his opinion and he was excited to drive after not having a car in New Jersey. While he likes the car, he actually prefers Volvos (Sweden love!) and is hoping to get one for next season to drive.

What's blasting on the speakers on his way to SAP Center? Likely some of his favorite Swedish artists and DJs.
