HITS AND BLOCKS - New York outhit the Canadiens, 21-11 and led in the blocked shots categories with a 16-11 edge. On the year, the Rangers' 2,079 hits rank fifth in the NHL and their 1,151 blocked shots are tied for the ninth most in the league.
