P.K. Subban. He's in the game.
The Predators defenseman was named the cover athlete for EA Sports' NHL 19, the top hockey video game in the world.
It's the first time Subban has been named the cover athlete in his career, and it also marks the first time a member of the Predators has been on the game's cover. Past cover athletes include Connor McDavid (NHL 18), Vladimir Tarasenko (NHL 17) and Jonathan Toews (NHL 16).

Nominated at the 2018 NHL Awards for the Norris Trophy as the League's top defenseman and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy for his humanitarian contributions, Subban set a career high in goals during the 2017-18 season with 16 and was one point (59) shy of matching his best mark of 60, which he set in 2014-15. He led Nashville defensemen in assists with 43 and was the only Preds player to appear in all 82 games this season.

Among all NHL defensemen, Subban tied for fourth in goals (16), tied for eighth in points (59) and tied for 13th in assists (43). From Dec. 13 to Feb. 22 he produced 30 points (11g-19a) in 31 games, highlighted by eight multi-point efforts.
Subban's teammate Pekka Rinne was a finalist to be on the cover of NHL 19, and Preds Captain Roman Josi has appeared on the cover of several EA Sports NHL releases in Switzerland.
