If you think about it, why wouldn't P.K. Subban be at the CMT Awards at Bridgestone Arena?
The Predators defenseman, who has already rubbed shoulders with the likes of Lebron James, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Zdeno Chara (the latter of which came while
taking class at Harvard
, of course) this offseason, wasn't about to miss a party in the same building where he stars at least eight months out of the year.
Subban attended the annual awards on Wednesday night and even had a role in the show, speaking on the
CMT Empowering Education
initiative. And, of course, the blueliner found plenty of time to mix and mingle with the likes of Keith Urban, Big & Rich, Rascal Flatts and more.

Former Preds Captain Mike Fisher was also in attendance to see his wife and country music superstar Carrie Underwood bring the house down with a performance of her hit "Cry Pretty;" the diehard Preds fan then took home her record 18th career CMT Award, this time for Female Video of the Year for her song The Champion, a collaboration with Ludacris.

Now that the Awards have passed, the 2018 CMA Fest is in full swing, with concerts throughout Nashville from Thursday through Sunday.
