Game two in New York City arrives for the Nashville Predators in the form of a contest in Brooklyn against the Islanders.
Nashville (1-0-0) used a long-range, empty-net goal by Colton Sissons as the ultimate game-winner in their Opening Night contest against the New York Rangers on Thursday. Pekka Rinne made 34 saves to record his first victory since winning the Vezina Trophy this summer.
The Isles (1-0-0) welcomed their new head coach, Barry Trotz, to the organization by picking up a 2-1 overtime win in Carolina on Thursday.
The Predators held a full morning skate at Barclays Center on Saturday, with all 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders present.
