While most of us are staying home to help flatten the curve, there are still those essential personnel who are out there on the front lines helping to keep us safe.
Officers of the Metro Nashville Police Department are among those heroes, and during a well-deserved break on Tuesday, members of the Central Precinct received a complimentary meal from Preds partner Corner Pub.

The Predators have joined forces with eight of their food and beverage partners to feed the eight Metro Nashville Police Department precincts every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of April. Orders from those partners are delivered three times per day to cover the midday, evening and overnight shifts to ensure all those who are working are receiving a meal.
"In these COVID-19 times, we want Nashvillians to know that we're still here for them and we're still answering their calls," Metro Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson said. "Thank you to the Nashville Predators for continuing to be here for our officers with the kind donation of meals from the Preds' food partners. We in the police department are deeply grateful."

Preds Head Coach John Hynes and General Manager David Poile, along with the Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub, are among those donating to the cause.
During the 2019-20 NHL season pause, the Predators, Bridgestone Arena and our partners want you to stay healthy and safe. Many local restaurants have made adjustments to focus on drive-thru or curbside pickup and are offering special offers, which we've compiled just for you.
