Nashville, Tenn. (January 31, 2019) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Thursday that the club has recalled forward Colin Blackwell from Milwaukee (AHL).
Blackwell, 25 (4/28/93), has featured in three games with the Predators this season, tallying two shots and two penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on Jan. 19 versus Florida at Bridgestone Arena and is averaging 10:40 of ice time per game.
He has seven goals in 16 games for the Admirals, his first season with the team. Despite missing 27 games due to injury, he sits tied for sixth on Milwaukee in goals and has found the back of the net three times in his last five contests, including a two-goal performance on Jan. 12 vs. San Diego. The 5-foot-9 center made his pro debut in 2016-17 with the San Jose Barracuda and has posted 63 points (28g-35a) in 134 career AHL games.
