The Good Guys

Niederreiter, who signed with Nashville as a free agent in July, has at least one goal on the man advantage in each of his last 10 seasons.
He found the back of the net three times in Nashville's two games against San Jose in Prague and became the second player in franchise history to score three or more goals through his first two career games with the Predators, joining Steve Sullivan (4g in 2004). He also became the fourth player in team history to score at least one goal in each of his first two career games with Nashville and the first since Luke Kunin in 2020-21.
Mikael Granlund and Ryan Johansen assisted on Niederreiter's power-play goal vs. Dallas, giving them three points each in Nashville's first four games this season.

The Other Guys

The Kings enter the third game of their five-game road trip coming off two high-scoring victories - Monday's 5-4 OT win in Detroit and a 7-6 win in Minnesota on Saturday.
