Twenty years has never looked so good.
After celebrating its 20th birthday last season, Bridgestone Arena continues to undergo upgrades and renovations, and as another summer comes to a close, a slew of additions await fans when the Nashville Predators open up preseason action in less than a week.
The arena has received $6 million of renovations over the shortened summer, part of the more than $66 million in renovations in the past seven years, all with the intention of keeping Bridgestone Arena a world-class facility for fans, players and performers alike.

"We get complimented a lot on the look of the building," Bridgestone Arena and Nashville Predators Senior Vice President of Booking David Kells said. "We have an ownership group and an agreement with the city to help fund investment into the arena, so it doesn't look like a 20-year-old building that can't meet the demands of a modern tour, can't meet the demands of a modern team… We've been very fortunate."
Fans residing in the 300-level of the building will notice a number of additions, including a new full-service bar outside of section 309. A few paces down the 300-level concourse will reveal "The Ice Bar" which will specialize in frozen drinks, such as Frosé, frozen margaritas and frozen bourbon sweet tea. This area will also be home to new flat-screen televisions and 70 outlets for fans to charge their devices. Wrapping around to section 322, fans will find the Music City Market, a grab-and-go station serving drinks and healthier options.
On the 200-level, the Wicked Weed Beer Garden will replace the former Club Trop Bar and Grill between sections 209 and 211. A new bar area sponsored by Labatt Brewing Company will open outside of section 120, and upgrades to restrooms have continued throughout the building. New interactive areas on the 100-level, sponsored by Vanderbilt and Window World, also add to the amenities on the lower concourse.
Changes on the event level include the addition of two new bunker suites located near the Lexus Lounge. These suites feature 20 tickets to all events, food and beverage service, as well as some of the best seats available for all the action.
Renovations have also been made to the event-level media dining and workspace; plus, upgrades continue to be made in the Predators locker room and player lounge areas as the season approaches.
