The first episode of "A Great Day for Hockey Talk" features special guest Sidney Crosby. Paul Steigerwald sat down with Crosby to discuss his life and career as the Penguins prepare to open the 2018.19 NHL season.
"The Scoop," meanwhile, debuts with special guest Mike Lange, the team's Hall-of-Fame broadcaster. Lange held a wide-ranging career discussion, and stories of his impact were shared by Getzoff, Kasan and Crechiolo.
Lange announced during the podcast that his broadcast schedule will be similar to last year - he will do radio play-by-play for all 41 Penguins home games and select road games. Getzoff will handle radio play-by-play for the other road games.
Following the premiere episodes, there will be one new podcast a week throughout the regular season, airing on alternating weeks.
