One thousand local youngsters ages 4-9 will receive FREE dek hockey equipment as part of the Pittsburgh Penguins' second annual 'Learn to Play Dek Hockey" program, coming this spring to 17 participating facilities in western Pennsylvania.

Each young player will receive free head-to-toe dek hockey equipment, including helmet, stick, gloves, shin guards and a "Learn to Play" t-shirt.
Six instructional sessions are also offered at each facility for $65. They are designed to introduce beginners to dek hockey in a fun and safe environment.
The program is made possible thanks to the support of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, the NHL and the NHL Players Association.
