The Penguins continue along their six-game road trip as they head to Los Angeles to take on the Kings at Crypto.com Arena. Pittsburgh is playing Los Angeles for the first time since Feb. 26, 2020 - a 2-1 loss at the Staples Center. Bryan Rust scored the lone goal for the Penguins in the loss. The Penguins are 4-2-0 in their last six games against the Kings. Going back further, they're 12-5-3 in their last 20 games against them. The Penguins have points in 13 of 16 games against Western Conference opponents this season (9-3-4).

CARTER'S RETURN TO LA

Jeff Carter will make his return to Los Angeles and Crypto.com Arena for the first time since being traded to the Penguins on Apr. 12, 2021. Carter spent nearly 10 seasons with the LA Kings and solidified himself as one of their best. In 580 regular-season games with the Kings, Carter tallied 194 goals, 189 assists and 383 points which ranked second, third and fourth, respectively, on the Kings during his time there. Carter produced the most power-play goals (57), game-winning goals (44) and overtime goals (11) while with the Kings. His goal total with LA is tied for 10th-most in King's history.
