SUNRISE, Fla. — The Florida Panthers and Scripps Sports announced today their local television programming for the 2026-27 season. As the Panthers prepare to hit the ice, Scripps Sports will offer a variety of ways for fans to keep up with the Cats throughout the season.
Scripps Sports will air 69 of Florida’s 84 regular season games across the Panthers local television broadcast territory, as well as the first round of the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs (should the Panthers qualify). This season on Scripps Sports, ancillary programs featuring and focusing on the Florida Panthers will air on the network, including: ‘Primetime Panthers’, ‘Panthers 360’ and ‘The South Florida Sports Show’ (new).
Florida Panthers programming will air primarily across the Scripps Sports South Florida networks on The Spot South Florida 39 (prev. WSFL 39) and The Spot South Florida 9 (prev. South Florida’s 9). SCRIPPS SPORTS LOCALLY PRODUCED BROADCASTS
The Scripps Sports Florida Panthers broadcast team will feature Steve Goldstein on play-by-play, Randy Moller as color analyst and Katie Engleson as rinkside reporter. Jessica Blaylock will host intermission coverage as well as the pre- and postgame shows alongside analyst and Panthers alumni, Ed Jovanovski. The Scripps Sports broadcast team will also produce 30-minute pregame shows for every Panthers game, including nationally exclusive broadcasts. Scripps Sports’ game broadcasts air across the Florida Panthers television territory on The Spot South Florida in Broward/Dade and West Palm/Treasure Coast, as well as on LAFF in Southwest Florida. All locally produced Panthers games can be streamed on PanthersPlus.TV.
SCRIPPS SPORTS HOME OPENER ONE-HOUR PREGAME SHOW
On Saturday, Oct. 10, tune in early on Scripps Sports from 5-6 p.m. for a special, one-hour pregame show ahead of the Panthers home opener against the Minnesota Wild at 6 p.m. The Scripps Sports broadcast team will be live on-site at Amerant Bank Arena, checking in with fans from the broadcast desk on Plaza level, interviewing members of the organization and more. This pregame special as well as the whole game broadcast will air across the Scripps Sports local television network as well as on PanthersPlus.TV.
‘PRIMETIME PANTHERS’
The third season of ‘Primetime Panthers’ will debut on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. ET, with new episodes airing every Wednesday across the Scripps Sports local broadcast network on The Spot South Florida and PanthersPlus.TV. The Telly-Award winning program hosted by Panthers sideline reporter Katie Engleson returns with all new behind-the-scenes Panthers content including player features, community stories and more.

‘PANTHERS 360’ ON THE SPOT SOUTH FLORIDA
‘Panthers 360’ returns for an all-new season on The Spot South Florida. WPTV anchor and Host Mike Trim highlights the Panthers on and off the ice in this weekly program produced by WPTV. The second inaugural season of ‘Panthers 360’ will air at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, following Primetime Panthers, on The Spot South Florida in Miami and West Palm, and streaming across WPTV’s digital platforms.
