Granlund's winner came after Brad Marchand marked his return to the lineup with the tying goal with Florida's net empty in the final two minutes, but the Ducks came through when they needed to to earn an important confidence-building win.

"We played a man's team tonight, and a man's game," Anaheim Head Coach Joel Quenneville said. "They know how to win. They know it doesn't stop, and it's 60 minutes of pushing and shoving. You don't have to be fancy sometimes, just a little protecting of the puck and they're getting it out of the zone, or in deep, or blocking a shot. All the little things add up, and they know how to win, and that's why it was such a big win."
