The expansion Kraken are currently competing in their first NHL season, but it's not the first time the Habs visit the Emerald City.
Twice, in 1917 and 1919, Montreal met the PCHA's Seattle Metropolitans in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Fast-forward a century and now home to an NHL side, on Tuesday the Canadiens will be the visitors for the second-ever game at Climate Pledge Arena.

Captain Mark Giordano was Seattle's other goal scorer, and Jared McCann earned an assist on the play to extend his team points lead to six.
The Kraken currently hold a 1-4-1 record six games into their debut season.
