TV: 12:30 p.m. ET; NBC, TVA Sports, SN
Season series: New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 34 saves in a 3-0 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 10. Kevin Hayes, Dominic Moore and Jesper Fast scored for the Rangers. Evgeni Malkin had a goal and three points for Pittsburgh in a 4-1 win on March 3.

Penguins team scope:Malkin will be out 6-8 weeks after injuring his left arm Friday. He is second on the Penguins in goals (27) and points (58) in 57 games. Forward Nick Bonino took Malkin's spot in practice Saturday, skating with Carl Hagelin and Phil Kessel. "With [Evgeni] out a few times this year, and guys have been hurt, we've all gotten to play with different guys," Bonino told the Penguins website. "For me, my game won't change, it'll still create chances, hopefully they'll go in, play good in our end, just get them the puck, like I said." Pittsburgh recalled forwards Dominik Simon and Conor Sheary from Wilkes/Barre-Scranton of the American Hockey League and re-assigned forward Tom Sestito. Center Scott Wilson (undisclosed) could play. "[Wilson] didn't skate today. He'll be a game-time decision," coach Mike Sullivan said. "We will see how he responds to some of the treatment."
Rangers team scope: Center Derick Brassard will return to the lineup after missing a 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday because of the flu. Forward Tanner Glass will sit out with an upper-body injury sustained Saturday. Defenseman Marc Staal returned after missing three games with back spasms. Lundqvist (three games, neck spasms) and forward Rick Nash (20 games, bone bruise) returned to the lineup Saturday. "I thought Nash showed some sparks ... good to see him out there," coach Alain Vigneault told the Rangers website. "Hank looked very good in goal, so that was very positive." The Rangers have not lost two straight games since Dec. 17-18 and are 23-7-3 at Madison Square Garden. "We got a point. We will take the point and get ready for tomorrow," Vigneault said.
