Fans Donate $32,000+ to Family of Fallen Officer

Penguins fans and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation have donated more than $32,000 - and counting - to the family of fallen police officer Scott Bashioum of Canonsburg.
Officer Bashioum, also a military veteran, was killed in the line of duty on November 10.

Members of the Western Pennsylvania Police Benevolent Foundation and other police officers collected donations before Monday night's game between the Penguins and New York Rangers at PPG Paints Arena.

The Scott Bashioum Memorial Fund has been established for the Bashioum Family at Washington Financial in Washington, Pa. Donations may also be made at all of the bank's branches.
