Forward Mats Zuccarello has nine points (three goals, six assists) in his past eight games against the Anaheim. New York is 6-2-0 in those games. Forward Pontus Aberg has two goals in each of his past two games to give him a Ducks high four goals. Aberg has played seven games for Anaheim since he was claimed off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 1.

Georgiev is expected to make his third start this season and 12th of his NHL career after Lundqvist faced 110 shots on the first three games of the road trip. ... Eaves practiced on a line with Henrique and Lundestrom on Wednesday. Coach Randy Carlyle said Eaves will decide if he's ready to appear in his first NHL game since Oct. 13, 2017. Eaves was hospitalized with what was believed to be Guillain-Barre syndrome last fall and had shoulder surgery in the spring.
