Guhle was on the ice for the second straight day in a non-contact jersey after being placed on injured reserve Jan. 3. There is no timetable for the defenseman's return to the lineup. ... Marino, a defenseman, did not participate in the morning skate because of a non-COVID illness and will be a gametime decision. ... Blackwood, a goalie, had to leave the morning skate after "tweaking something," Devils coach Lindy Ruff said, and also is a gametime decision. … Bastian, a forward, is expected to be a healthy scratch for a third straight game.
