Daley sustained a broken ankle while being driven into the boards by Tampa Bay forward Ryan Callahan with 9:07 remaining in the second period of Game 4 on Friday. He will miss the remainder of the postseason, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said.
"I told these guys at the start of the playoffs, that we're going to need everybody," Sullivan said Sunday. "If we're going to get to our ultimate goal, we're going to need everybody. Both in and out of the lineup, in order to accomplish this."
With Daley injured, defenseman Olli Maatta is expected to re-enter the lineup. Maatta has been a healthy scratch since Game 1.
Bennett, who hasn't played since April 5, could replace forward Conor Sheary on left wing next to center Sidney Crosby and right wing Patric Hornqvist. Bennett has been cleared from an undisclosed injury.
"I talked to the trainers and we had some long talks about where I was at and I said I wanted to help the team as much as possible, if I could," Bennett said. "I feel like I've been working hard in practices and enough so to feel comfortable to go out there in a game."
Sullivan said the lineup would be a game-time decision.
Fleury starts for the first time since sustaining his second concussion of the season March 31 against the Nashville Predators. He made his 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs debut in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final, when he stopped seven shots in relief of Matt Murray, who allowed four goals on 30 shots.
Fleury, who won the 2009 Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh, went 35-17-6 in 58 regular-season starts with a career-low 2.29 goals-against average and .921 save percentage, which tied his career-high from 2007-08.
The Lighting said their approach would not change with Fleury in net.
"It's just a matter of how we challenge that goalie that's in there," defenseman Anton Stralman said.
Stralman has one goal in three games since returning from a fractured left fibula for Game 2.
"I think every game, it gets a little easier out there, timing wise, but I don't think I'm where I want to be yet," he said. "It's going to take a little time."
Lightning goalie Ben Bishop, who sustained a lower-body injury in Game 1, participated in Tampa Bay's optional morning skate but mostly performed light skating.
"I think if you were maybe a forward you'd be OK to go out there and tough through it, but, as the last line of defense, you don't want to go out there and do that to your teammates," Bishop said. "So, you've got to wait until you're ready to go and feel like you can help the team win. Until then, it's just trying to get better."
Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy has won one of his three starts this series; he had 35 saves in the 4-3 Game 4 win.
Lightning captain Steven Stamkos (blood clot) participated in the Sunday skate, but said there is no update to his status. He said he doesn't anticipate his status changing in the next few days.
