Hall with son in Stanley Cup

The moment hockey fans have been waiting for since the Carolina Hurricanes clinched the Stanley Cup: A baby in the trophy.

Hurricanes forward Taylor Hall broke the ice this year, placing his young son, Chance, in the trophy for a classic photo.

Hall's wife, Rachel, posted the adorable picture on social media.

Hall scored in the Hurricanes’ series-clinching Game 6 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights to help push the franchise to its first championship since 2006.

In his first full season with the Hurricanes, the former Hart Memorial Trophy winner put up 18 goals and 30 assists in 80 games played during the regular season.
