Hoffman can also set a Panthers record with points in 14 straight games, surpassing the 13 set by Pavel Bure from March 10-April 5, 2000. He has 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) during the streak. His last game without a point was against the Blue Jackets in the second game of the season Oct. 11.
The Panthers will try to win their sixth straight game, which would be their longest run since winning six in a row from Feb. 22 to March 4.
Blue Jackets forward Artemi Panarin and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky likely will not play because of an illness. Columbus is 3-0-2 in a five-game point streak.

Forward Pierre-Luc Dubois has nine points (six goals, three assists) in his past nine games. His 61 points (28 goals, 33 assists) in his first 100 NHL games are the most in Blue Jackets history.
