Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews had one shot in 17:37 against the Capitals and was held without a point, ending his five-game point streak. His eight points (five goals, three assists) lead Toronto.

DeKeyser skated with the Red Wings for the first time since he was injured during a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars on Oct. 10. Blashill did not commit to a timeframe on his return.
