Braeden Bowman contract

Braeden Bowman signed a six-year, $20.4 million contract with the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. It has an average annual value of $3.4 million and begins with the 2027-28 season.

The 23-year-old forward is entering the final season of a two-year contract he signed on March 3, 2025, and could have become a restricted free agent after the season.

An undrafted free agent, Bowman had 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 54 games during his rookie season in 2025-26 and averaged 14:08 of ice time per game. He also had four power-play points (two power-play goals).

Bowman appeared in one Stanley Cup Playoff game for the Golden Knights.

Vegas, which lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in six games in the Stanley Cup Final, opens the regular season against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sept. 29 (10:30 p.m. ET)
