Tkachuk brothers sound siren at Miami Hurricanes game

Miami had to take cover because the Tkachuk brothers are officially in town.

Matthew Tkachuk and Brady Tkachuk sounded the siren before the Miami Hurricanes game against the Florida A&M Rattlers at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday. 

Both Tkachuks sported University of Miami gear and “threw up the U” hand sign in a picture taken on the field.

They received a warm ovation from fans in the stands as they were announced over the PA speaker. 

Brady then enthusiastically cranked the siren as Matthew cheered him on. They both threw up another “U” for the crowd.

In a video posted by the Panthers on social media, the brothers checked in and said they were excited to perform their pregame duties.

In June, Brady joined his brother in Florida after the Ottawa Senators traded him to the Panthers.

The brothers will take the ice for the first time together in Panthers uniforms on the NHL’s opening night on Tuesday, Sept. 29. Florida will face off against the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes at Lenovo Center in the first game of ESPN’s opening night triple-header (5 p.m. ET).
