The Detroit Red Wings will try for their first win of the season when they play the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Monday. The Red Wings, who lost 4-2 to the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday, haven't gone three straight games without a win to start a season since 1991-92. The Ducks can tie their best three-game start in team history (2006-07) with a win in their home opener, which also marks the 25th anniversary of their inaugural game.

The Red Wings did not bring Ericsson, Kronwell and Green on the two-game trip to Southern California, and Daley sustained an upper-body injury in the 4-2 loss to the Kings. ... Getzlaf is day to day after he sustained a lower-body injury in a 1-0 win at the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. Lundestrom, the No. 23 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, is expected to make his debut with the Ducks.
