Glass, 32, was recalled from Rockford of the American Hockey League on Wednesday to back up Anton Forsberg after starting goalie Corey Crawford was placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Defenseman Oscar Klefbom will return to the Oilers lineup. He missed three games with a shoulder injury and has not played since a 5-3 win against the San Jose Sharks on Dec. 18. He was activated from injured reserve Friday.
The Oilers will try for their fifth win in six games. Goaltender Cam Talbot is expected to start. He's 7-1-0 with 18 goals allowed in his past eight starts.
The Blackhawks will try to avoid their fourth straight loss following a five-game winning streak.
Chicago defenseman Cody Franson, who missed five games with an upper-body injury, will return to the lineup.

Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane has nine points (five goals, four assists) in his past seven games, and has 47 points (14 goals, 33 assists) in 35 games against Edmonton.
Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl has nine points (one goal, eight assists) in a five-game point streak.
