After seeing the Canadiens stock up on centers at the NHL Draft in Dallas, the Bell Centre took a cue this summer and also bulked up at center… ice.

On Monday, the Habs' ice crew completed their preseason preparations, and the fresh new playing surface features one notable change down the middle.
In place of the two smaller logos which had been present for every opening puck drop at the Bell Centre since 1996, now lies one massive iteration of the iconic CH.

Additionally, this year's suped-up logo also contains the names of
all 500,000-plus Club 1909 members
embedded within it.
