Flyers forward Claude Giroux had two goals and an assist in a 5-2 win at Gila River Arena on Monday. The victory gave the Flyers a 3-0-1 record on their four-game road trip and ended Arizona's five-game winning streak.
The Coyotes, who begin a four-game trip, will start goalie Darcy Kuemper for the second straight game. No. 1 goalie Antti Raanta was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a lower-body injury. Hunter Miska was recalled from Tucson of the American Hockey League and will dress as the backup.

Status report

Goligoski was given a maintenance day Tuesday and skated Thursday but will be a game-time decision. Mermis, who was recalled from Tucson on Tuesday, would make his season debut if Goligoski can't play. ... Van Riemsdyk practiced but did not take line rushes during the morning skate. He was expected to be out 5-6 weeks after being injured against the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 6. ... Flyers defenseman prospect Samuel Morin skated after practice. He's working his way back from a torn knee ligament sustained during the AHL playoffs and is not expected to be ready to play until February.
