WINNIPEG, October 30, 2018 - For the seventh season, the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club will support the NHL's league-wide Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC) initiative with a local campaign held in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation (CCMF). The campaign runs throughout the month of November with opportunities for fans to give at all Manitoba Moose and Winnipeg Jets home games beginning with the Moose vs. Chicago Wolves game on Friday, Nov. 2 and the Winnipeg Jets. vs. Colorado Avalanche game on Friday, Nov. 9 before converting Bell MTS Place to lavender for the Winnipeg Jets HFC game on Thursday, Nov. 29.
That night, all Winnipeg Jets players will wear special HFC jerseys during pre-game warm-up. During the game, Jets coaches and broadcasters will wear official lavender-coloured HFC ties. The Winnipeg Jets will also convert all their rinkboards and in-game visual media to lavender to generate increased awareness for the cause.

Winnipeg Jets fans can support the cause at all six Winnipeg Jets home games throughout the month of November (Nov. 9, 11, 14, 16, 27, and 29) by purchasing mystery autographed pucks and mini sticks on the concourse. Additionally, $5-raffle tickets will be sold in-game as well as at all Jets Gear locations, and during six Manitoba Moose home games between Nov. 2 and Nov. 24 (Nov. 2, 3, 8, 10, 23, and 24) for the chance to win a Jets warm-up worn/issued HFC jersey.
On HFC Night on Nov. 29, there will be a special ceremonial puck drop featuring this year's CCMF child ambassadors and the evening's 50/50 proceeds will be donated to the cause, courtesy of the True North Youth Foundation. Following the game, there will be an online auction where fans can bid on HFC painted goalie masks, worn by both Jets and Moose net minders, player worn HFC ties, game used lavender taped sticks and warm-up worn and issued jerseys. Fans will also be able to bid on a selection of one-of-a-kind pottery pieces painted by the Jets Wives and Girlfriends through an in-game auction.
Visit any of the city's five Jets Gear stores to purchase limited edition HFC merchandise, including toques and plush bears, with a portion of the proceeds going toward Hockey Fights Cancer.

All proceeds raised will be directed to CCMF pediatric clinical trials. CCMF funds 50 percent of the cost of clinical trials for children and teens with cancer, making leading-edge treatments available and accessible locally. Manitoba continues to have one of the highest participation rates of pediatric trials in the country, due in large part due to the significant donations CCMF directs to this effort year after year. All funds raised by CCMF, including through the Jets' HFC campaign, stay in our province to benefit patients and their families.Visit
