DO IT AGAIN
This may be looking too far down the road but last season 13 of the 16 teams that made the Stanley Cup Playoffs recorded 100 or more points and the lowest point total was 97 (Nashville). The style of game the Jets played on Monday against St. Louis featured all four lines, solid defence and of course, great goaltending. As they begin this three games in four-night schedule on the road, they need to simply do it again in Los Angeles against the Kings.
"We talked about it. You know, we've kind of won one, lost one," said associate coach Scott Arniel.
"A bit of a trend happening. We need to have that same kind of effort."

SAMBERG'S TURN
Dylan Samberg will return to the lineup tonight after Logan Stanley was injured blocking a shot in the Jets win on Monday. Samberg was also injured blocking a shot in Denver which saw Stanley fill his spot for the next three contests. Samberg will skate alongside Dylan DeMelo tonight against the Kings.
GAGNER CONTINUES TO PRODUCE
Sam Gagner is one of the pleasant stories to begin the 2022-23 campaign as he is tied for second on the team in goals with three. The coaching staff moved him up to the third line with Adam Lowry and Morgan Barron in search of more offence before the game against St. Louis. According to Natural Stat Trick, the Lowry line produced the most high danger scoring chances with six. Gagner was on the Red Wings penalty kill last season and with the Jets he is on the power play. His ability to play in all situations is one of the reasons the Jets brought him to the Manitoba capital and he has delivered.
"Whatever is asked of me, I'm ready to do," said Gagner following practice on Wednesday.
"Hopefully contribute and help the team win."
