WINNIPEG, Sept. 29, 2026 - A record number of giveaway games, a new allergy-friendly concession and a ticketing offer that includes unique Jets merch and collectibles are just a few additions to the Jets gameday experience for the 2026-27 season. Fans get a first taste of all the excitement at the Winnipeg Jets Home Opener Friday, Oct. 2 when they open the season against the Boston Bruins at 7 p.m.
Allergy-friendly concession
Fans with allergies and dietary restrictions now have Chef’s Kitchen (Section 124), a new allergy-friendly concession with a robust menu of gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian food options, including bowls, a Beyond Meat burger, wraps, hotdogs and desserts.
New Tequila Taqueria, Portage Poutinerie, and fresh menu features
Tequila Taqueria (Sections 109 & 321) and Portage Poutinerie (Section 125) bring bold new flavours to gameday with Mexican-inspired dishes and drinks, including tacos, street corn ribs and margaritas, while the new poutine concept offers unique twists on the classic Canadian dish. Fans can also try delicious new dishes from their favourite stands, including deluxe barbeque bowls at The Carvery (Sections 111 & 310) and loaded perogies, Philly cheesesteak, and fried Pico green beans at Aviators’ Grill (Sections 103, 116 & 301). A new feature burger at YWG Burger (Section 112) allows hungry fans to customize “The Rink Burger” with an unlimited number of patties (for an additional charge).
New Indigenous art collaboration
The Winnipeg Jets will debut a new art collaboration as part of the pre-game land acknowledgement, bringing together the original Winnipeg Jets WASAC logo created by Cree designer Leticia Spence with a new visual concept by local Anishinaabe artist Blake Angeconeb. The piece incorporates the Seven Sacred Teachings into a meaningful new expression of respect for shared spaces and growing relationships.
NHL Hometown Remix
This season, the NHL and Fanatics launched Hometown Remix, special edition uniforms, apparel and headwear that will celebrate each NHL team’s fans, city and local culture. 48-hour October Fan Sale
To celebrate the start of the 2026-27 season, the Jets are launching the October Fan Sale, offering fans even more value on select October games. For 48 hours only starting Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m., fans can purchase tickets with no fees to select October games and receive a $15 Jets 360 credit to use toward Jets Gear or concessions at Canada Life Centre. Additionally, all October ticket holders, including Season Ticket Members, will be automatically entered for the chance to win a 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic VIP experience valued at $3,000.
