Ryan Getzlaf and Cam Fowler each scored a goal and added an assist while John Gibson made 26 saves for his 19th career shutout as the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Isles 3-0 before a crowd of 16,269 at Honda Center.
The loss snapped the Isles' franchise-record 17-game point streak (15-0-2). The Isles are 16-4-2; it still equals the most wins and the most points the Isles have ever had through 22 games.

The Isles were the 27th team in NHL history to earn a point in 17 straight games; it was the 2nd-longest point streak by a New York team (Rangers 19 games in 1939-1940) ...This was the Ducks' 1001st all-time game in Anaheim…Ryan Getzlaf was credited with Anaheim's first goal when the puck was put into the Isles goal by Jordan Eberle; the goal extended his point streak to five games…This was the first of the last eight games to be decided by more than one…The Isles were shutout for the first time this season and did not have a shot on goal in the final 13:54; they have not scored a goal in 95:25 and have only one goal on this road trip....The loss ended a three-game win streak for the Isles in games they trailed after two periods (all done during streak); that tied the club record, done three times, including last season.
