The New York Islanders got back in the win column on Sunday night, skating to a 4-0victory over the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center.
Noah Dobson, Casey Cizikas (1G, 1A), Andy Greene and Kieffer Bellows scored for the Islanders, who rinsed out the sour taste of Saturday night's loss to the LA Kings. Ross Johnston had a pair of assists for his first-career multi-point game.
Ilya Sorokin stopped all 34 shots for his fifth shutout this season, while the Islanders picked up their first win in California since Feb. 18, 2018.

THE SCORING:

1st Period:
13:41 - NYI 1, ANA 0 - Noah Dobson rips a slapper from the point. The puck skips off the ice and eludes Anthony Stolarz. JG Pageau and Kyle Palmieri pick up the assists.
2nd Period:
1:33 - NYI 2, ANA 0 - Ross Johnston rushes the puck up the ice on a two-on-one with Casey Cizikas. Johnston threads a pass across the ice and Cizikas - who turned 31 on Sunday - deposits it. Cal Clutterbuck with the secondary assist.
3rd Period:
11:43 - NYI 3, ANA 0 - Andy Greene scored his second goal of the season, roofing a wrister over Anthony Stolarz short side. The goal was set up by Johnston, who picked up his secondary assist of the night, and Cizikas
15:05 - NYI 4, ANA 0 - Kieffer Bellows chips the puck around Josh Mahura at the Islanders' blueline and heads in on a breakaway, snapping a shot high glove on Stolarz. Oliver Wahlstrom and Sebastian Aho with the assists.

Ross Johnston played in his 100th career game... Josh Bailey drew back into the lineup after sitting out two games as a healthy scratch... Andy Greene returned to the lineup after missing six games as a healthy scratch... Dobson's goal is his ninth of the season, tying him with four others for seventh in the NHL among defensemen... Since Dec. 5, Dobson leads all NHL defensemen in goals, with one more than Colorado's Cale Makar...
