Three Flames prospects hit the ice at the World Junior Summer Showcase on Tuesday.
The annual tournament, held in Plymouth, Mich., is the first step in World Junior Championship roster evaluation for Canada, USA, Sweden, and Finland.

Forwards Matthew Phillips, Dillon Dube and Canada Red played their first game at the tournament, falling 8-2 to USA White. Both Phillips and Dube were held pointless and had two shots each in the loss. Canada will be back in action on Wednesday against Juuso Valimaki, Eetu Tuulola and Finland.
Defenceman Adam Fox and USA Blue were edged 2-1 by Canada White in Tuesday's final game. Fox led all USA Blue skaters with five shots on net. In three games at the tournament, the 19-year-old has two points.
