DARRYL SUTTER ON SETTING A STANDARD:

MATTHEW TKACHUK ON FINAL GAMES:

"I think (Sutter) just wants everyone to end it off on a good note, play the right way, play with pride and play with energy and play with emotion and not to roll over. We've got to take some positives from this. You've got to end it off on a positive note, even though it's very hard to."

MILAN LUCIC ON STRETCH DRIVE:

"I think the main thing is just playing with pride and playing for each other and playing within our structure and all that type of stuff. You want to try and leave a season with a good taste in your mouth, even though it's hard to if you're not playing in the post-season. I think personal pride and team pride more than anything is what you can accomplish in these last five games."

"I think it's obviously great for them, great for them to have that opportunity. It's great to step up and be partners to host something like that. In Canada, women's hockey is always something that's been talked about. I remember as a kid, anytime the World Championship or Olympics were on, women's hockey was right there with the men. Obviously, it's been tough times during this whole COVID stuff - not just their league, a lot of other leagues, too, but to get it going here and announce a partnership is obviously a move in the right direction.

SUTTER ON WOMEN'S SHOWCASE EVENT:

"I think the women's part of it is the next level because of how successful we've been in the Olympics and the Worlds. You look at the U.S. and Canada and the girls are older now, but they were stars and are still the faces of the game. To take the next step and have this showcase and have a league is critical. ... There's a lot of really good female hockey players. To be able to branch out and get more access, I think it's awesome. We've heard about it, lots, but it's just a matter of time before you have more girls involved in the NHL part of it in terms of coaching, training, all that. I think it's awesome."
