HUBERDEAU ON SURVIVING LATE STARS PUSH:

ON MOOD ON THE BENCH IN THE THIRD:

"We had to stick with it. It's the worst when you start panicking. That's when everything goes south. You can't panic in that kind of situation. We have a lot of mature, a lot of older guys, we've got to take that as an advantage and close these games out."

TANEV SCORING HIS FIRST OF THE YEAR:

"Nice to score, obviously. Nice to contribute. Feel like I've had that shot quite a bit this year and finally scored, so it's nice when you can help that way."

ON GETTING THE WIN:

"Crazy third, obviously. Most importantly, got the two points. But obviously let them control the last 12 minutes pretty good, so we've got to do a better job. A 6-1 lead, it should be pretty easy to close the game out.
"They came out in the second pretty hard and Vladdy made a couple good saves and we sort of strung a bunch of shifts together and were able to capitalize on our chances and that's what we need to do more of."

ON STRINGING TOGETHER POINTS ON ROAD:

"That's the goal, especially on the road, you've got to try and play the same shift over again. Over and over again. And that's sort of how you wear teams down and beat teams. Obviously, 6-5 game is sort of not our style of hockey, but we'll take the two points whether it's 2-1 or 6-5 or 3-2."

VLADAR ON WILD THIRD PERIOD:

"I don't know if I locked it up. Obviously, those games are hard, especially for a goalie because I saw some shots early and as the game went along, we took over big game. 6-1 game, my job is to not let them get back and they did. Learning experience for me. I've got to learn from it and be better next time."

ON GETTING THE WIN:

"Two points. That's what it is in this league. No one's asking about the score is. Just the two points are the thing that matters the most. It's better to win 6-5 and lose 1-0."

SUTTER ON HOW IT PLAYED OUT:

"I think that we talked a lot about Dallas really being good at home. So, we wanted to have a good first period but not based on score, but on doing things right. We did that. We had a really good first period and had the momentum all the way through the second. Lost Robertson late to make it the 6-2 goal. Our centreman lost Robertson, he feeds Seguin and it's 6-2 and then they get the momentum. That comes into the third."
ON 'ANXIOUS' MOMENTS IN THE THIRD:
I wasn't anxious. Anxious is usually if you're scared or don't know what you're doing.
"I think our foot-soldiers - guys like Tanny, Weegs, Mikael's line and Lindy's line carried us the whole game. Had nothing to do with what the score was, quite honest."
ON TANEV SCORING HIS FIRST GOAL:"
"Darn rights. Pressure's on. I told him he has to score every game now. Once you get going, you've got to stay with it."
