With the win, Anaheim improved to 14-29-5 on the season and 2-2-1 heading to the finale of a six-game road trip.
Fowler scored twice, his third career multi-goal game, extending his own franchise record for goals by a defenseman (88). Terry's three-point night was his third of the season and his third multi-point effort in his last five games. Trevor Zegras, Jayson Megna, Kevin Shattenkirk, Frank Vatrano and Jakob Silfverberg added assists.
Anthony Stolarz came within 10 minutes of his seventh career NHL shutout, settling for his fourth win of the season in stopping 37-of-39 Arizona shots.
Barrett Hayton and Nick Schmaltz scored for the Coyotes, who fell to 15-28-5 on the season and 9-8-2 on home ice. Connor Ingram took the loss in net with 38 saves.
Vatrano scored the only goal of a back-and-forth first period full of chances on both ends, getting just enough of a rolling puck to beat Vejmelka from the slot. Terry poked a pass away inside the Anaheim blue line, retrieving the puck along the wall before heading up right wing. The All-Star winger patiently drifted into the right faceoff circle in search of a passing lane, eventually finding Vatrano waiting in the high slot. Initially fumbling the pass, Vatrano elected to simply wire it on net, sneaking his bid under the netminder's glove to give Anaheim the lead.

ANA@ARI: Vatrano gives Ducks lead in 1st period

Vatrano has goals in two of his last four games. Seven of his eight goals this season have come on the road.
The Ducks kept the pressure up early in the second period, blitzing the 'Yotes for several scoring chances and eventually capitalizing for a two-goal lead. With a delayed penalty coming to defenseman Juuso Valimaki for a dangerous slash to the back of Max Jones, Terry went coast-to-coast, weaving his way through the Arizona defense with a backhand move and then lifting a wrister over Ingram's shoulder from a sharp angle.

ANA@ARI: Terry nets 13th goal of season in 2nd period

With the secondary assist, Megna now has points in two of his last three games (0-2=2). He has four assists in 21 games as a Duck this season.
Valimaki, who signed a one-year contract extension early today, was assessed a five-minute major penalty and ejected from the game for the infraction.
The Ducks would make him pay for the the lengthy penalty too, scoring in the first minute of the five-minute man-advantage to take a commanding 3-0 lead. Fowler collected a pass in the middle of the ice from Terry as the Ducks set up in the offensive zone. Rather than dishing the puck to one of his flanks though, Fowler took the free space offered ahead of him, stepping in and firing a low shot that beat Ingram to the glove side.

ANA@ARI: Fowler increases Ducks' lead with PPG in 2nd

With his ninth career three-point game, Terry tied Ryan Kesler and Saku Koivu for 11th-most in Ducks history.
Fowler's two points on the night marked his 62nd career multi-point effort, moving with two of Scott Niedermayer for most by a Ducks defenseman. Fowler also inched closer to the Hall of Famer in power-play goals (36), now three shy of Niedermayer's record for Ducks blueliners.
Zegras grabbed the secondary assist, extending his scoring streak to a career-best six games (6-5=11). Named the NHL's Third Star of the Week Monday, Zegras has found the scoresheet in ten of his last 11 games (8-7=15) and co-leads Anaheim in scoring (17-24=41) with Terry.
Arizona has allowed a power-play goal in eight straight games.
Stolarz was sturdy test throughout the opening 40 minutes, splitting 24 saves evenly in the first two periods and helping preserve the three-goal cushion headed to the third with a lunging right pad denial of rookie Dylan Guenther in tight.

Fowler struck again early in the third, hammering a one-timer from the point through the screen of Silfverberg in front for his second of the night.

ANA@ARI: Fowler increases Ducks' lead in 3rd period

Fowler's two goals marked his first multi-goal game since his hat trick vs. Columbus in Dec. 2018.
Hayton snapped the shutout bid with just under 10 minutes to play, intercepting a centering pass and lifting a backhander by Stolarz to the glove side.
The Yotes got within two four minutes later on another nice play by Hayton, this time swiping a loose puck through the slot to Schmaltz for a tap-in goal on the backdoor.
That would be as close as Arizona would get though, as Silfverberg's bank pass off the end wall set up Henrique for the empty netter, sealing Anaheim's 5-2 win.

ANA@ARI: Henrique scores in 3rd period

The goal pushed Henrique's scoring streak to six games, the second-longest of his 12-year NHL career and one shy of his personal best set in 2011 with New Jersey. Since the start of November, Henrique is tied for 12th among Western Conference players in goals (17).
The Ducks conclude their six-game road trip Thursday in Colorado.
