GAME 20:
Coyotes (9-9-1) vs. Golden Knights (9-12-1)
Arizona will begin a stretch of three games in five days over a busy holiday weekend when it hosts Vegas in Glendale on Wednesday night.

WHERE: Gila River Arena | WHEN: 7 p.m. (AZ time) | TV:FOX Sports Arizona Plus | RADIO:ESPN 620 AM

ABOUT THE 'YOTES:
• The Coyotes are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Boston on home ice on Saturday, in which they outshot the Bruins 33-23.
• Backup Darcy Kuemper will make his eighth consecutive start in place of starter Antti Raanta, who is nursing a lower-body injury. Kuemper, who is 2-4-1 in the past seven games, has stopped 66 of 69 shots over the past two games. Hunter Miska will again serve as Kuemper's backup. Raanta skated with teammates at Tuesday's practice and is expected to be back in the lineup before the homestand ends on Sunday.
• Defensemen Alex Goligoski (lower-body injury) and Jakob Chychrun (upper-body injury) also practiced Tuesday and will return to the lineup, per Head Coach Rick Tocchet.

'Yotes Notes
Brad Richardson, who recently became just the sixth player selected in the fifth round or later of the 2003 draft to play in 700 career NHL games, is leading the Coyotes in goal scoring. Richardson, who tallied just three goals in 76 games last season, already has scored six this season in 19 games. He also leads the team in shooting percentage at 16.2 (six for 37).
Kevin Connauton has scored three of his 26 NHL goals vs. Vegas. That's 11.5 percent.
Clayton Keller, who scored a team-leading 23 goals last season, is looking to snap a nine-game goal-scoring drought. Keller last tallied a goal on Oct. 27 vs. Tampa Bay. Despite the streak, Keller still co-leads the team with 12 points (five goals, seven assists). Oliver Ekman-Larsson also has notched a team-high 12 points (two goals, 10 assists).
• Look for Michael Grabner to play on a line with Keller and center Derek Stepan, at least to start Wednesday's game. The trio practiced together on Tuesday.
"I just want to see how it works," Tocchet said. "'Grabs' just kind of stretches the ice, so maybe that opens up some plays for 'Kells' and maybe puts teams on their heels a little bit. I believe in pairs and then you can always rotate wingers out. Who's hot, who's not … Unless you're playing Colorado or Dallas, or these teams that have that one line that's going to be together all the time, you rotate guys in and out. I'm a believer in that."
Josh Archibald will serve the second game of a two-game suspension handed down by the NHL for an illegal check he made to the head of Nashville's Ryan Hartman during the game played Nov. 15.

• Vegas has lost four of its past six games, including a 7-2 defeat at Calgary on Monday ... The Golden Knights, who won 22 of 41 road games in their inaugural season, have won just four of 13 so far this season ... Jonathan Marchessault is leading the Golden Knights in goals (10) and points (19), and ranks second in the NHL with 92 shots on goal ... William Karlsson has dished out a team-high 12 assists ... Marc-Andre Fleury, who is expected to start in goal, is 7-5-1 with a 2.06 goals-against average and .931 save percentage in 14 career games vs. the Coyotes ... Cody Eakin has scored three short-handed goals this season, which ranks second in the NHL behind Arizona's Michael Grabner (four) ... The Golden Knights are 4-1-0 vs. the Coyotes and 2-0-0 in games played at Gila River Arena.
'YOTES QUOTES:
• "They're a really fast team and they play a really good style of hockey. A lot of their guys are moving their feet and moving the puck quick. We've got to limit their chances and stick to our game and what we do best, and not get sucked too much into their game." -- Brendan Perlini
• "Everybody in this locker room knows that we can play better than we have. Some of the games we lost we should have won. But our mind-set right now is not on the past, it's on the next game and going from there." -- Richard Panik
• "(Vegas) is not going to surprise people this season. Everybody's ready for them. But they're still a hard-working team and they've got a lot of pieces." -- Rick Tocchet
