MONTREAL — The Canadiens announced on Sunday that forward Vinzenz Rohrer has been loaned to EV Zug in the Swiss National League for the 2026-27 season.
Last season in Switzerland, Rohrer registered 12 points (4G, 8A) in 41 games with the ZSC Lions, plus one goal in nine playoff contests. He then joined the Laval Rocket for the AHL playoffs, registering an assist in five postseason games.
The Rankweil, Austria native was selected by the Canadiens in third round, 75th overall, of the 2022 NHL Draft and agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract (2025-26 to 2027-28) with the team on June 14, 2025.
