Numbers-FLA

SUNRISE - Here's a numerical look at the Canadiens' first of two games in the Sunshine State, on Thursday night at the BB&T Center.

3,774 - Number of kilometers the Canadiens have left to go on their six-game, 12-day road trip. After stops in Brooklyn, Boston, New Jersey, and now Sunrise, the Habs are booked for visits in Tampa and Columbus before flying home on Monday.
2 - Charlie Lindgren got a second consecutive start, although with a different goalie to back him up - Antti Niemi. The Finnish backstop, who had missed last game with a lower-body injury, was under the weather and so did not start.

250- Claude Julien was coaching his 250th game behind the Canadiens bench. He has compiled a (113-10-10-27) record as Habs bench boss in his two stints with the club.
112 - Julien is a former coach of the Panthers' Radim Vrbata, when the Czech forward was in Junior. Vrbata was coached by the Habs skipper from 1998-2000 with the QMJHL's Hull Olympiques, for 112 games in all.
1 - Paul Byron's early third-period goal was overturned following a coach's challenge by the Panthers. Upon review, it was determined there was goaltender interference on Florida netminder Roberto Luongo. The goal would've reduced the Panthers' lead to 4-1.
6:55 - Rinat Valiev, playing in only his second game in a Habs uniform, left the game with a lower-body injury and did not return. The 22-year-old rearguard skated for 6:55 against the Panthers and registered a shot and blocked shot on the night.
