Numbers-TOR

TORONTO - Here's a numerical look at Saturday night's game between the Canadiens and the Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre.

48 - Number of games former NHL defenseman Mike Weaver played in a Habs uniform during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 campaigns, quickly becoming a fan favorite in Montreal. Now living in Toronto, Weaver was kind enough to take over our Instagram story during Saturday morning's optional skate and shared some funny stories about his time with the CH.

4 - Number of Habs who sported turtlenecks for Saturday night's pre-game warmup at the Air Canada Centre in honor of the team's first game against their former teammate, Tomas Plekanec, who was traded to the Maple Leafs in late February ahead of the trade deadline. The group included Brendan Gallagher, Jacob de la Rose, Artturi Lehkonen and Jeff Petry.

9 - Michael McCarron played his ninth game of the season for the Canadiens on Saturday night - his first since November 7 against the Vegas Golden Knights at the Bell Centre. The 23-year-old forward was recalled from the AHL's Laval Rocket on Wednesday night. He centered a line with Nicolas Deslauriers and Daniel Carr.

18 - Number of hits the Canadiens dished out during the first period alone on Saturday night as they tried to set the tone against their Atlantic Division rivals. Brett Lernout led the way in the physicality department with four hits of his own through 20 minutes of play. For their part, the Maple Leafs had just eight.
24 - Number of saves goaltender Charlie Lindgren made during the second period alone on Saturday night, as the Maple Leafs continued to pepper the Canadiens' net with shots aplenty. Kasperi Kapanen and Nazem Kadri did manage to beat the young netminder in the middle stanza, though, as Mike Babcock's contingent headed to the locker room with a 3-0 advantage after 40 minutes.

1 - The Canadiens contested a goal the Maple Leafs scored at the 15:06 mark of the second period, claiming goaltender interference. After review, the goal was ultimately denied. At that point in time, the score remained 2-0.
5 - Number of consecutive games in which Jonathan Drouin has won over 50 percent of his draws, accomplishing that feat once again on Saturday night. He won 11 of his 18 faceoffs against the Maple Leafs, operating at a 61 percent clip in that department.
