MONTREAL – The Canadiens couldn’t keep pace with the Lightning on Tuesday, falling 6–1 on Pride Night at the Bell Centre.

Tampa Bay struck early and kept their foot on the gas, piling on goals throughout the night.

Oliver Kapanen provided Montreal’s only answer, slipping his ninth of the season past Jonas Johansson to break the shutout bid.
