MONTREAL - 1909 Taverne Moderne, the new restaurant located in Tour des Canadiens next to the Bell Centre, will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday in time for the Canadiens' home opener against Chicago.

The best place to watch a Habs game outside the Bell Centre, 1909 Taverne Moderne features a 46-foot, 4k-quality big screen, which will stream the live feed directly from the Bell Centre's central scoreboard exclusively during the home opener. A live DJ will also be on site to keep the atmosphere pumping for 1,000-plus guests in the 25,714 sq. ft. space between whistles.

Featuring locally-sourced international cuisine, 1909 Taverne Moderne is already a favorite among Canadiens players, who had a chance to sample the menu as the restaurant's first-ever guests before the 1909's doors officially opened for business.
