Samuel Blais assigned to Laval Rocket

MONTREAL – The Canadiens announced on Thursday that forward Samuel Blais was assigned to the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League.

Blais, 29, was placed on waivers by the Club on Tuesday and went unclaimed. This season, the Montmagny, QC native registered eight points (3G, 5A) in 21 games with the Canadiens.
