BostonBruins.com -While the B's have started their season off hot in Boston, Bruins prospect Jackson Edward is doing his part to keep stacking up the wins for his own team.

The B's 2022 seventh-round pick recorded his first career goal with the London Knights against the North Bay Battalion on October 28. The nice one timer that went just over North Bay goaltender's glove gave the Knights a 1-0 lead early in the first of three games heading into the weekend.
"Feels great to finally get the monkey off my back and play to my abilities," said Edward.
The 6-foot-2 defenseman was expected to make strides this year playing in his second season with the Knights, with Bruins Associate Director of Amateur Scouting Ryan Nadeau setting expectations high at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in July.
"We're expecting a big progression for him next year," said Nadeau.
Edward responded, scoring his second goal in two nights on Saturday October 29. The goal came in the third period to give London a 4-3 lead and help the Knights to a 5-4 victory over the Sudbury Wolves.

Edward played in 54 games for the Knights last season, where he recorded six assists. He also spent time with the York Simcoe Express U16 AAA team in the ETAHL, where he recorded 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 33 games. He also performed well at the B's Development Camp this past summer, and took some things with him to Ontario.
"I learned how to play a more professionally structured game and have applied that in London this season," said Edward.
