Tarasenko surprises kid with signed puck

ST. LOUIS - Last week, a member of the Blues front office staff was scrolling through Facebook and noticed a picture of a boy named Jeffrey holding an "I Fight For…" sign at the Hockey Fights Cancer game against the Colorado Avalanche.
His sign said "I Fight For… Jeffrey (me)."

Jeffrey's picture was posted by a family friend, who stated that Jeffrey's favorite player was Vladimir Tarasenko and he was hoping to find a Hockey Fights Cancer commemorative puck to give to him.
When word made it to Tarasenko, he signed a puck and wanted to tape a video message to Jeffrey, who received that message (and his puck) when he returned to the rink Tuesday to see the Blues' 4-1 win against the Sabres.
