Please see the below statement from Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz on today's announcement by the Hockey Hall of Fame that former Blackhawks Marian Hossa and Doug Wilson have been elected to the Class of 2020.

HHOF 2020 INDUCTEES

"The Chicago Blackhawks organization and Wirtz family congratulate Marian Hossa and Doug Wilson on being elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

Over his 19-year career, Marian exemplified what it means to be a champion on and off the ice. From the moment Marian arrived in Chicago, his leadership, work ethic, determination and will to win had a positive impact on his teammates which ultimately led us to three Stanley Cup Championships. He was as complete of a hockey player as they come, and an even better human. There is not a more deserving individual to be recognized as a first ballot Hall of Famer than Marian Hossa -- his class and dignity will never be forgotten. The Blackhawks congratulate Marian, his wife, Jana, and their two daughters on this historic accomplishment.

Wirtz congratulates Hossa on HOF

Doug was a stalwart on the Blackhawks' blue line from the moment he was drafted in 1977. His toughness and consistency throughout his career embodied the meaning of being a Blackhawk. The accolades speak for themselves: Norris Trophy winner as the league's top defenseman in 1982, seven-time All-Star, franchise leader in goals and points as a defenseman -- and now, a Hockey Hall of Famer. Although he works for an opponent now, he will always be a part of the Blackhawks family. Doug's wife Kathy and his children, Lacey, Doug, Charlie and Chelsea, should be very proud of all their father has achieved as a professional."
