SAN JOSE, CA -Patrick Kane's 2019 All-Star Weekend came to an end with a 10-5 loss to the Metropolitan Division in the championship game. The Metropolitan team was awarded the $1 million prize.
The Central Division dominated the scoresheet from the start in their first game against the Pacific Division, but found the opposite happened in this one. It all started when Mathew Barzal put the Metropolitan Division up 1-0 with a top-shelf snipe just 22 seconds into the game.
Claude Giroux buried his own breakaway rebound to make it 2-0 at 1:53.
The Metro's run continued when Kris Letang scored to lift his squad to a 3-0 lead at 3:40.
